CAMPAIGN: Ingersoll Rand Speaking Engagements and Events

CONTENT: Press Release

February 15, 2016 /3BL Media/ - Join Ingersoll Rand on Thursday, Feb. 25 from 9-10 a.m. ET to learn about the work underway at the company’s Guilin, China facility to reduce fresh water consumption in a water-stressed area.

In 2015, Ingersoll Rand set a goal of a 2 percent reduction in fresh water compared to 2014. Always looking to exceed expectations, the team set a self-imposed reduction goal of 10 percent.

After designing and implementing a new water recycling process, the site achieved a 54 percent fresh water reduction from January to March 2015 compared to all of 2014.

The team credits lean tools, lean thinking, standard work, and engaged employees to not only exceed their goal, but also sustain the results.

Join us to:

  • Learn how the Guilin team achieved significant water use reductions
  • Understand how the team established “normal” baselines for each water use source and how to respond quickly to abnormalities
  • See the commitment to the local environment. Guilin is in a water-stressed area and contributes to the company’s 2020 water reduction goal of a 25 percent reduction in water use in water-stressed areas.
