WASHINGTON, D.C., April 24, 2018 /3BL Media/ – PYXERA Global is pleased to announce our participation in the Taproot 2018 U.S. Pro Bono Summit hosted by the Taproot Foundation and BMW Foundation on April 18–19 in San Francisco, CA. The Taproot Foundation’s annual event brought together leaders in the practice of Global Pro Bono to share knowledge, challenges, and experiences in an effort to better facilitate pro bono work that drives social change. PYXERA Global joined other leaders in the practice to discuss Global Pro Bono projects as they relate to technology, leadership, and food access.

Renay Loper, Associate Director of Global Pro Bono programs, represented PYXERA Global at the event. She presented insights on the future of food access, highlighting a solvable problem within the context of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals a key topic of discussion in PYXERA Global’s upcoming 2018 Global Engagement Forum: Live. In addition, Ms. Loper discussed the social and environmental changes that will affect food access in the future and how Global Pro Bono projects can help prepare organizations for those challenges.

“I am thrilled to be participating in the Taproot Foundation’s annual summit, which brings together leaders from a variety of industries and communities to discuss some of our most pressing issues,” commented Ms. Loper. “I glad to be sharing PYXERA Global’s challenges and successes in recent pro bono projects, while also learning from the experience of other summit attendees.”
