Lifestory Research Ranks Trane the Nation’s Most Trusted™ Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning System

Trane receives top ranking for second year in a row

DAVIDSON, N.C., March 3, 2016 /3BL Media/ – For the second consecutive year, Trane, a brand of Ingersoll Rand, has been named America’s Most Trusted™ Heating, Ventilation, & Air Conditioning (HVAC) System by Lifestory Research. 

The study, based on 17,878 national consumer opinions, tracks how trust impacts consumers’ evaluations of HVAC brands. Trane received an index score of 109.9 with the next best scores coming in at 102 or less.

“Trust is the new measure by which consumers evaluate brands and companies,” said Eric Snider, Ph.D., president and chief research officer, Lifestory Research. “Our consumer research finds that people buy new products that they trust. When people trust a brand like Trane, it provides them with the confidence in making a purchase decision.”

The Lifestory Research America’s Most Trusted Study asks consumers about their trust in home-based brands.
