New York, NY, March 26, 2014 /3BL Media/ - Two hundred and fifty senior leaders in corporate societal engagement are convening to learn together about “What Counts”, and to celebrate and expand the important work being done by companies in communities all over the world. At the annual CECP Summit attendees will hear from the heads of organizations whose work is creating waves throughout the societal investment field– including Irene Dorner, President and CEO; HSBC Bank USA, N.A.; Sheri McCoy, CEO, Avon Products; Jeremy Heimans, CEO of Purpose; and Emmett Carson, CEO and President of the Silicon Valley Community Foundation.

The CECP Summit opens with a welcome reception on May 19 at The Empire Hotel and the conference takes place May 20 - 21 at the Time Warner headquarters in New York City.

This event will present the analysis of Giving in Numbers data, which is an unrivaled annual index of corporate societal investment trends that tracks total giving, employee engagement, program area support, and more. The winners of two Excellence Awards categories will be announced--the Charles H. Moore Award and the 2014 Directors’ Award. Additionally, there will be a discussion among all the 2014 Excellence Awards winners – including a panel with Ezra Garrett of PG&E and Michelle Grogg of Cargill, as well as the winning CEO of a national nonprofit and a senior corporate giving professional, to be revealed at the Summit.
