The Corporate Citizenship Award for Best Corporate Steward – Small & Mid-Market Business honors companies with overall values, operational practices, and stakeholder strategies that exemplify shared value. Over the last 30 years, Blackbaud has delivered software solutions to the nonprofit sector. Under the motto “Your Passion, Our Purpose,” the company seeks to help nonprofits drive positive change. By launching a multichannel communications campaign using Blackbaud solutions, American Near East Refugee Aid raised more $130,000, which allowed them to deliver 19,712 Hygiene Kits, 11,536 School Kits and 3,080 Baby Care Kits to refugee camps in Lebanon. The company donates about $600,000 annually to nonprofits and employees deliver about 60,000 hours of skills-based volunteerism. Additionally, Blackbaud is engaged in an array of social good initiatives, including The Clinton Global Initiative, Business Doing Good, and #GivingTuesday.
CETRA Language Solutions offers translation, website and software localization, interpretation, and conference equipment rental services. The company's corporate citizenship efforts focus on philanthropy and employee volunteer efforts. Specifically, CETRA contributed $6,690 for Hurricane Katrina relief and $2,400 for Hurricane Sandy relief. Since 2008 the CETRA bike team has raised over $65,000 for the National MS Society. The company has provided pro-bono translation services to help victims of natural disasters, torture, trauma, and sexual violence. CETRA also became a sponsor of Translators Without Borders, whose mission is to increase access to knowledge through humanitarian translations.
