Champlain Oil Raises Money To Support "Project Graduation"

SOUTH BURLINGTON, Vt., May 1, 2013 / 3BL Media /PRNewswire/ -- Local CITGO Marketer Champlain Oil Co. will soon launch its "Be A Star. Buy A Star." fundraiser to benefit the "Project Graduation" program at six local high schools. From May 1-31, seven of Champlain Oil's CITGO Jiffy Mart locations in New Hampshire and Vermont will sell paper stars for $1 or $5. One hundred percent of the profits will go to "Project Graduation," a program that provides an adult-supervised and alcohol- and drug-free post-graduation event for high school students.

Throughout the month of May, customers are invited to visit the following seven CITGO Jiffy Mart locations to purchase the paper stars and help their local high school.

The six high schools that will benefit from the "Be A Star. Buy A Star." fundraiser are Stevens High School in Claremont, N.H.; South Burlington High School in South Burlington, Vt.; Colchester High School in Colchester, Vt.; Fall Mountain Regional High School in Langdon, N.H.; Green Mountain Union High School in Chester, Vt.; and Spaulding High School in East Barre, Vt.
