Amgen Teach

Amgen Teach supports science teachers across Europe by providing training workshops and distance-learning events that supply educators with the skills and confidence to transform the science classroom experience for students. Science teachers in Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Poland, Spain, and Turkey are supported with free training sessions that emphasize hands-on, inquiry-based experiential learning for their students. Meet Mariada Muciaccia from Italy
Mariada has taught chemistry, biology and earth science since 1981, and currently works in Rome – where she also participated in an intensive Amgen Teach workshop earlier this year. Her objective was to learn how best to apply inquiry-based techniques to students between 16 and 18. "Amgen Teach enhanced my confidence and ability to use inquiry-based teaching," she shared.
