The Biggest Event at Rose Bowl Stadium Helps Feed Hundreds Locally
More than 90,000 fans were gathered yesterday at the Rose Bowl Stadium for the venue’s biggest event of the year. Following the event, the stadium’s concessions partner, SodexoMAGIC, a partnership with Magic Johnson Enterprises and Sodexo, a food services and facilities management company, fed hundreds in need when it donated remaining food items to the Pasadena Hot Meal Program just as it has done for the past seven years.

Sodexo, world leader in Quality of Life Services, today announced the release of the Stanford Health Care Food Transformation Journey. The recently published case study outlines how Sodexo and local Chef Jesse Cool set out to better align food concepts with the outstanding level of health care for which the renowned institution is known. The results exceeded expectations, achieving a Press Ganey Patient Satisfaction Score for food that increased by 140 percent.

Sodexo Applauds University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa Team for Becoming First Food Recovery Certified Organization in the State
Sodexo, world leader in Quality of Life Services, today applauds the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa (UH Mānoa), its students and dining services staff for their work in diverting more than 1,000 pounds of safe, nutritious food from landfills to those at risk of hunger. Because of these efforts, the university recently became the first and only Food Recovery Certified chapter of the Food Recovery Network in the state. Mānoa Dining Services is managed by Sodexo, a company known for improving the communities in which it operates through sustainable practices and community outreach initiatives.

Sodexo Employees Celebrate 20 Years of Fighting Hunger in North America as 2016 Stop Hunger Servathon Concludes
Sodexo, world leader in Quality of Life Services, celebrated the successful 20th year of employees impacting hunger issues in communities across North America in April. Its annual Stop Hunger Servathon, a month-long, global effort, drew to a close last week. Every year during the month of April, Sodexo employees, clients, customers and local stakeholders join forces to fight hunger and raise awareness about related health and nutrition issues. Results for the worldwide effort will be announced in June.
