GSK [LSE/NYSE: GSK] and Triangle Community Foundation today announced the GSK IMPACT Award Winners in a ceremony at GSK’s Research Triangle Park facility. Ten local nonprofits earned $40,000 each in recognition of their outstanding contributions to a healthier Triangle region.
In 2014, MGM Resorts employees logged 172,316 volunteer hours – the equivalent of 4,307 full-time jobs - with 850 agencies. Our employees volunteered throughout their communities in a variety of ways, including feeding the homeless in shelters, packing lunches at Ronald McDonald House and helping The Animal Foundation with pet adoptions.
America’s future depends on our ability to train future generations to fill necessary workforce positions, and to continue innovating so that American businesses can meet new challenges and open new sectors. Yet, our country is not producing enough college graduates to meet the growing demand – 16 million too few by 2025, according to the Kresge Foundation.
