Zurich Global CEO, Executives and Their Spouses to Refurbish a Home in St. Bernard Parish Damaged by Hurricane Katrina

(3BL Media) April 27, 2012 - Zurich has supported the St. Bernard Project, a non-profit organization that refurbishes existing homes in St. Bernard Parish that were damaged by Hurricane Katrina. Over the past three years, Zurich executives and their guests have rolled up their sleeves during their stay in the city for the Zurich Classic of New Orleans and helped rebuild the community.

This year, Zurich celebrates 100 years of insuring America with “100 Ways,” a challenge to employees to complete 100+ projects in the U.S. and Canada in 2012. So far, 500 Zurich volunteers in 30+ cities have been hands-on and donated 2,500 hours of their time.  Zurich is halfway to its goal. This project will count as one of the “100 Ways.”
