LAS VEGAS, November 20, 2015 /3BL Media/ — In honor of Veterans Day, Wynn Las Vegas and Habitat for Humanity Las Vegas joined together to help rehabilitate Veterans Village in Downtown Las Vegas on Nov. 14 and 15.

More than 200 Wynn employee volunteers came together to provide critical repair and renovation to Veterans Village, a transitional and permanent housing facility for United States veterans. Volunteers spent days repairing and providing an all-over facelift to the 125-unit complex with fresh paint on the exterior of the building; installation and updating of the flooring and molding; and maintenance in plumbing and bathroom fixtures.

In support of the partnership, Wynn Las Vegas has generously provided $10,000 to fund the transformation of Veterans Village and the company’s employees helped revitalize the housing facility, to provide a safe and stable haven for individuals to get the help and recovery services that they need.

“This is an exciting joint venture with Wynn Las Vegas and Veterans Village, and we couldn’t be more honored to be part of this vital project to continue our efforts in helping to eliminate blight from our community,” said Meg Delor, executive director of Habitat Las Vegas. “With supportive community partners like Wynn Las Vegas, we are able to help many individuals rebuild their lives and have a fresh start.”
