(3BL Media) April 24, 2012 - Wizness, a social-networking platform aimed at solving sustainability challenges, has recently announced that it will be integrating Climate Counts company scores into its networking platform as an added benefit to members.

In an effort to help consumers better identify which companies are showing leadership on climate change, Wizness corporate profiles will now display how well major corporations are measuring, reducing and reporting on their greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions targets using back-end data from Climate Counts.

In addition to integrating Climate Counts company ratings, Wizness will also be incorporating information from SMI-Wizness Social Media Sustainability Index, a special report of social media best practices related to sustainability communication.  The report analyzes 100 companies that have established dedicated social media channels for sustainability communications and highlights creative ways companies are approaching sustainability reporting.

An abbreviation for Wise Business, Wizness is a cloud-based virtual community for companies and sustainability professionals aimed at sharing ideas and concepts related to sustainability.

Climate Counts, a University of New Hampshire-based nonprofit organization, is a collaborative effort to bring consumers and companies together to discuss solutions for climate change.
