U.S. Citizens are Mobilizing to Help Our “Neighbors” in Oklahoma

Denver, Colo., May 22, 2013 /3BL Media/ - $2 million was raised in 20 hours as people from all over the U.S. were texting donations for victims of the Oklahoma tornado.  At this time, just over $3.3 million has been raised through the nonprofits who are running text donation campaigns through mGive.

“Officials say the recovery from this disaster will top $3 billion and mobile donations give everyone the ability to help make a difference when we see the devastation in people’s lives from a tragedy like this,” said Jenifer  Snyder, executive director of The mGive Foundation.
