For the last four years, 10 to 20 Vigilantes have donned sweats and sneakers for one day in November to race up the 41 flights of stairs at Place Ville Marie for the RBC Challenge.

The Scrambled Legs & Achin team almost broke the PVM relay race record this year – only three seconds shy. Ten Vigilantes flew up 41 flights of stairs in 2 mins 44 seconds and took home their shiny medals in addition to their renewed bragging rights that extend beyond the office to others teams competing in the event. Their reputation precedes them and they are the team to beat.

The 41-flight run is all in good fun and proceeds go to Centraide (AKA: the United Way outside Quebec). While the record race time was not beat, this year, the RBC Challenge did beat its record total raised – teams raised a record $180, 000 for Centraide Montreal.
