Join CBSR and special guest Caroline Rees, former Senior Advisor to the UN Secretary-General's Special Representative for Business and Human Rights (John Ruggie) for a provocative discussion on the topic of business and human rights. This session will explore the Respect Pillar of the Protect, Respect, Remedy Framework and its implications for Canadian businesses operating abroad. You will hear how a Canadian company has addressed the issue of human rights in their operations overseas and some lessons learned from their experience.
