This past Wednesday the United States Senate and the House of Representatives faced off in a challenge to see who could collect the most clothing to benefit Dress for Success Washington DC. Sponsored by FedEx, a Dress for Success corporate sponsor since 2006, the Congressional Challenge embodies the spirit of giving that has made the Dress for Success brand so successful.

Founded in New York City in 1997, Dress for Success is an international not-for-profit organization offering services designed to help women find jobs and remain employed. Each Dress for Success client receives one suit when she has a job interview and can return for a second suit or separates when she finds permanent work.
