Collective Impact is an approach to solving social problems that’s based on the idea that no organization acting alone can solve large-scale issues. The New York Times  has called Collective Impact “one of the most important experiments occurring in the social sector today," and Stanford Social Innovation Review first featured this approach in its Winter 2011 Issue. Using the Collective Impact approach to solve a complex issue, a group of cross-sector actors who commit to a common agenda can greatly accelerate the pace of change and drive deep and lasting social impact.

A key condition for Collective Impact is the use of a shared measurement system in which multiple organizations use a common set of measures to evaluate performance and track progress toward goals.

This interactive webinar hosted by FSG’s Fay Hanleybrown will feature two panelists from successful collective impact initiatives using shared measurement systems: Tim Richter, President and CEO, Calgary Homeless Foundation: 10 Year Plan to End Homelessness, and Patricia Bowie, Consultant, Magnolia Place Community Initiative.

This webinar will focus on the process of designing and implementing innovative shared measurement models. We will also discuss the benefits of using shared measurement for continuous learning, improved coordination and performance, and driving change.

We hope you’ll join us and tweet along using the hashtag #collectiveimpact.
