The Recycling Symbol Explained

This well-known image goes by many names – the recycling symbol, the Mobius loop, and the chasing arrows sign just to name a few. No matter how it’s referenced, the symbol is universally recognized as meaning “made from recycled content” or “recyclable. But no single entity regulates its use, meaning variation occurs between industries and even manufacturers. Therefore, its critical that consumers pay attention to how the symbol is used on products they purchase.
