Campaign: Conflict Minerals

In response to requests for a single source "news alert" on key events in supply chain and regulated materials compliance, Source Intelligence is pleased to introduce "From The Source," a direct mail and web-based newsletter written to keep you informed at a glance.

2014 promises to be an exciting year as the theme of "transparency" and the impact of technology continue to transform the delivery chain of products, impacting every player up and down stream.

The first issue covered six recent stories going on in the world of supply chain and regulated materials management. The first article was the announcement that Intel’s microprocessors will not contain conflict minerals in 2014.  The second was how Green Bay quarterback Aaron Rogers gives his support to Raise Hope For Congo. The third was an invite to download an analysis paper on the 4 prevailing approaches of a conflict minerals compliance program. The forth was on the Uzbekistan cotton harvest. The fifth was the battle over angora fur by animal-welfare activists and the last was about the nation’s second largest privately owned truckload carrier signing a MSDS contract.

The next issue will be released on Wednesday, January 22nd, 2014.

This is your newsletter and it was created to keep you in the know. Source Intelligence wants to know what you want to read about and find out what your top priority is for compliance programs and news alerts in 2014?
