(3BLMedia/theCSRfeed) Chestnut Hill, Mass. - Jan. 28, 2011 - It may be too late to get recognition from the Academy but companies can still enter their best corporate citizenship video in the 2011 International Corporate Citizenship Film Festival and let the world know about the good they are doing for society.

Leading companies know that telling their corporate citizenship stories has increasingly improved reputation, positive branding and ultimately the bottom line. Many recognize the power of video as an innovative tool and use it to communicate with a broader audience in an engaging way. The Boston College Center for Corporate Citizenship’s 3rd annual film festival provides an opportunity for corporate citizens to share their stories on the big screen.   The deadline for submissions to the Boston College Center’s 3rd Annual International Corporate Citizenship Film Festival has been extended to Wednesday, Feb. 16.   More than 500 corporate citizenship professionals will gather in Minneapolis, April 10-12, at the 2011 International Corporate Citizenship Conference for a showcase of the top 10 video finalists and red carpet announcement of the winner. This is a chance for professionals to watch these videos on the big screen and talk to peers who brought their corporate citizenship efforts to life.
Details on submission of videos for the film festival and information about the conference can be found on the conference web page.   The Boston College Center for Corporate Citizenship is a membership-based research organization that is part of the Carroll School of Management.
