FISHERS, Ind., April 14, 2022 /3BL Media/ - Land Betterment Corporation (“Land Betterment” or the “Company”), an environmental solutions company fostering positive impact through upcycling former coal mining and industrial sites to create sustainable community development and job creation, was recently featured by Inside INdiana in the story “Rehab Continues at Former Landree Mine Site”, which showcases the Company’s environmental efforts to clean up the unattended liabilities left behind at the Landree Mine in Green County, Indiana, and the current development of COAL Craft Spirits, a Land Betterment company.

“The clean-up of former and abandoned thermal coal mines across America and restoring the land in a way that is creating ongoing and new jobs for transitioning economies is what Land Betterment is all about. Additionally, the Land Betterment Exchange (LBX) is providing an opportunity for corporations to drive capital back into impacted areas and will offer an efficient and true carbon offset that you can see and touch with full auditability,” commented Mark Jensen, Executive Chairman.  “The addition of measuring the carbon sequestration of the newly planted trees on former fossil fuel lands and monetizing them through the LBX Token is revolutionary and is a case study for all carbon offset programs.”
