Kohler Co. leaders, Lakeshore Community Health Care (LCHC) representatives and members of the Sheboygan community gathered Friday, May 5, to unveil LCHC's newly renovated Medical and Behavioral Health Wing.

The renovations to its 20,000-square-foot location in Sheboygan, Wisconsin, were made possible by a $1 million gift, spread over four years, from Kohler Co. Enhancements include new exam, medical procedure and therapy rooms; a lab; offices and meeting space for providers.

The clinic provides primary and preventative medical care, dental care and behavioral health services to residents in Sheboygan County. According to clinic leaders, more than 11,000 of Sheboygan County's 110,000 residents have no health insurance. The expansion of the clinic allows LCHC to bring all medical, dental and behavioral health services under one roof and will allow the clinic to double its patient capacity over the next two years. Additional renovations to add an in-house pharmacy and updated administrative space are expected to be completed this summer.
