May 30, 2014 /3BL Media/ - AIDAaura and AIDAvita are the first cruise ships to receive the accolade of “Certified Conference Ship.” The ships were audited in mid-May and certified with the quality check of the VDR (German Business Travel Association).

This means that the ships meet all quality criteria demanded by corporate clients for holding conferences and conventions at sea. The 54 examination criteria cover professional event management, additional rooms for group work, and basic fit-out, for example with technical equipment. The ships proved to be highly persuasive with well-equipped conference rooms, with adequate space for presentation and seminars.

AIDA Cruises offer corporate clients the opportunity to hold employee or customer events on board AIDA ships in a unique ambience. The ships may be booked completely or as a split charter for events of two days or more. The auditing of further AIDA ships is already being planned.
