As part of Tetra Tech’s Sustainability Program, the company challenges employees from around the world to park their cars and cycle to work each May.

During Tetra Tech’s 2017 International Bike to Work Week (BTWW) Challenge, 466 employees pedaled 28,337 kilometers in 67 cities across the United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, and Japan! This year’s competition saw a 70 percent increase in riders, with 38 full teams (5 riders or more) and several smaller teams and individual riders participating. Our dedicated cyclists braved various types of inclement weather—from rainstorms in New Zealand to hot temperatures in Southern California—remembering to stay safe and hydrated.

This video highlights teams from around the world who followed the advice of our past BTWW champions from Massachusetts (also their team name): “Pahk ya car and ride.”
