A cancer patient who was told his hospital couldn't afford more chemotherapy machines bought seven after finding them for £175 on eBay.
Steve Brewer, 62, was told by nurses at Peterborough City Hospital that they couldn't afford to buy any more £4,300 triple pump machines, which administer cancer drugs.
But when he looked online from his hospital bed, he found them for a fraction of the cost, and has now donated seven of them to the ward he was treated on.
