Campbell to Kick off "Make a Difference Week" at Holy Name School in Camden

 (3BL Media / theCSRfeed) CAMDEN, NJ - October 21, 2011 – Campbell Soup Company (NYSE: CPB) announced it is gearing up for the fifth annual “Make a Difference Week,” the company’s annual week of service, taking place Saturday, Oct. 22 through Saturday, Oct. 29. Approximately 1,200 employees are expected to participate in 90 volunteer projects throughout the week.  

Campbell’s executive leadership team will kick off “Make a Difference Week” on Monday, Oct. 24, at Holy Name School in Camden where they will help prepare and serve lunch to students. Campbell chefs will create the menu using “Campbell’s” products and fresh ingredients. This year, projects will continue to focus on the company’s commitment to reducing hunger and childhood obesity in its hometown communities. “Make a Difference Day,” the largest day of volunteer service in the United States, is held annually on the fourth Saturday of October.
