Volunteerism
Verizon encourages its employees to volunteer and give back to the community where they live and work. The Verizon Foundation is proud to support our employees’ volunteering efforts with two programs:
Through the Matching Gifts program, Verizon employees can have their financial donations to qualified nonprofits matched 1:1. The program also gives employees the opportunity to connect with organizations within our key focus areas of healthcare, education and energy management.
Through the Verizon Volunteers program, employees who volunteer 50 hours or more with an eligible charitable organization or educational institution can apply for a $750 volunteer grant which is awarded to the nonprofit where the employee volunteers.
The Verizon Foundation is proud to support the generosity of our employees. After all, the more we partner, the greater our impact will be.
