Sustainable Land Management
Leonardo Academy works with landowners to develop Sustainable Land Management Plans. A good plan provides clear direction for making restoration decisions and achieving a landowner’s vision. It may also integrate complicated Federal and State rules, regulations, and programs. Plans are based on ecological communities present, historical vegetation and land use, restoration and preservation goals, and current challenges. In addition, Leonardo Academy manages and organizes the delivery of sustainable land management services including planting and seeding, forest management, invasive species control, and site inventories tailored to each property’s unique needs and ecology.
