Sustainable Gaming: American National Standard for Sustainable Electronic Gaming Machines (LEO-8000)

The Standard for Sustainable Electronic Gaming Machines encourages improvement in the sustainability of electronic gaming equipment, such as slot machines. Key components include energy use and emission reduction, as well as the use of more sustainable materials throughout the supply chain. The standard provides sustainability metrics that assess environmental, social, and economic performance at all levels of the gaming industry’s supply chain. The American National Standard for Sustainable Electronic Gaming Machines (LEO-8000) was developed by Leonardo Academy under the rules of the American National Standards Institute (ANSI).
