Healthy for Life 20 By 20

Healthy for Life® 20 By 20, a five year initiative, introduces industry leading menu commitments by reducing calories, saturated fat and sodium levels 20 percent, and increasing fruits, vegetables and whole grains 20 percent. Changes will impact more than 2 billion meals that Aramark serves annually at thousands of schools and universities, business, hospitals, sports and entertainment venues, parks and other destinations, with an expected impact of 10 billion meals by 2020.

American Heart Association and Aramark Launch Innovative Community Health Engagement Program to Improve Diet and Health in Underserved Communities
The American Heart Association and Aramark are launching a new community engagement program in three key cities -- Philadelphia, Chicago and Houston -- as part of their Healthy for Life® 20 By 20 initiative to improve the diet and health of millions of Americans by 20 percent by the year 2020. The pilot program, taking place throughout the spring, will track and measure the impact of attitudes and behaviors of primarily single mothers or single heads of households responsible for food and meal decisions for their families.
