Beyond GSK

Much of what influences our health happens outside the doctor’s office – in our communities. Community factors, such as education, safety, access to healthy foods and recreational spaces, and the support of families and social networks, undeniably contribute to our health. Where we are born and raised, live, and work, matters to our health. That’s why GSK partners with local nonprofit partners to build healthier communities. We have several signature programs in the US: our charitable grants, our IMPACT Awards and Grants, Opportunity Scholarships, and Science in the Summer. Our video series, "Beyond GSK," explores what we do in partnership with nonprofits around the US to help build healthier communities. In the episode above, Marti Skold Jordan explains a $5 million GSK IMPACT Grant that will help Philadelphia school kids plant the seeds for healthier communities.
