BuzzFeed Recognizes Three Solve for Tomorrow Winners for Changing the World

Each year, the Solve for Tomorrow contest aims to raise enthusiasm in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) subjects by encouraging teachers and students to solve issues in their community. Most recently, three winning classes from the 2015 Solve for Tomorrow contest were featured in BuzzFeed’s “15 Ways Students Are Changing The World” for positively impacting their communities.

The article highlights California’s Downtown College Prep for their work tackling the state’s water shortage, Nevada’s Galena High School for building adaptive equipment for disabled students, and Pennsylvania’s NWPA Collegiate Academy for creating farming methods in urban communities.
