Booster releases its first ESG Report

SAN MATEO, Calif., October 13, 2022 /3BL Media/ - Booster®, the leading tech-driven mobile energy delivery company, today announces the launch of its first environmental, social, and governance (ESG) report. The 2022 ESG Report details the company’s efforts across several ESG commitment areas aligned with the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Here are some key highlights from the report:

  • Booster is an active participant in the California Clean Air Day Pledge, a project of the Coalition for Clean Air, and strives to achieve 100% company participation.

  • Earlier this month, Booster was announced as a 2022 “Best Tech for Good” Finalist for “applying technology to tackle today’s most pressing social, global, and environmental challenges.”

  • Booster’s fleet of Smart Tankers — proprietary energy delivery vehicles — are backed by telematics and IoT enablement to ensure actionable data insights into efficiency and consumption.

  • In markets where Booster is able to obtain renewable diesel, the company has converted nearly all its fleet customers to the sustainable alternative fuel, which can offer up to 70% lower lifecycle emissions compared to petroleum diesel.

  • In 2022, Booster was named one of Forbes’ Best Startup Employers in recognition of its commitment to maintaining a good reputation, employee satisfaction, and steady growth.

  • The company continues to invest heavily in diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging, with women comprising 16% of Booster’s CDL drivers – almost double the industry average.

  • Booster’s internal training program, the CDL Academy, provides fully paid CDL training to offer Booster drivers meaningful, long-term career paths.
