Banorte received "SME Award 2011"

(3BL Media / theCSRfeed) November 14, 2011 - In the period from November 2010 to September 2011, Banorte granted one of each three pesos provided to SMEs in the country. The bank posted a total of $ 20.500 million pesos in loans to SMEs, through the program Garantías México Emprende (Mexico Business Guarantees). 



To give distinction to Banorte, the Ministry of Economy considered the bank's active participation in sectoral programs such as "Support for the construction industry" and "New Entrepreneurs", as well as tourism, employment and disasters, financial institution which applied very competitive interest rates as well as being a key player in implementing emergency programs to support the economic recovery of businesses affected by natural disasters.

   It should be recalled that in 2007 the Ministry of Economy awarded Banorte as "the bank with the most comprehensive integrated offering for Small and Medium Enterprises" and "the institution that granted more credits to Mexican companies." In 2008, Banorte was recognized by the Secretariat itself as "the bank that gave more resources to SMEs, under the National Guarantee System."

   The "SME Award 2011,” commits Banorte to redouble their efforts to remain as the institution that best understands and satisfies the needs of SMEs, covering its financial needs in a comprehensive way and thinking about the best way to consolidate a long- term customer.
