Avista Collaborates To Show That Efficiency Matters

Recently, Avista collaborated with Spokane, Wash. news station, KREM 2, and Inland Empire Toyota to educate customers about energy efficiency. The “Efficiency Matters” promotion included a contest where one lucky person could win a new, energy-efficient 2016 RAV4 Hybrid XLE. During the seven-week contest (April 18-June 5), viewers could watch any KREM 2 newscast for the energy efficiency keyword and submit it online to enter for a chance to win. Other social media options were also offered to find bonus keywords.

At the end of the entry period, we received 95,430 entries of which 10 finalists were randomly selected. All finalists were invited to attend the Win a RAV4 Hybrid finale event at Avista Stadium during the opening night of the Spokane Indians Baseball season June 17 2016, where the winner was selected.
