AOL Unveils Media Room at Ronald McDonald House® New York with Help from Kevin Jonas
AOL Partnership Allows Families Battling Cancer to Stay Connected, and Continue Educational Support While Staying in New York City Temporarily for Treatment
(3BL Media / theCSRfeed) October 10, 2011 - To commemorate October’s National Children's Health Month AOL is making a difference for children battling cancer by donating an AOL Media Room to the Ronald McDonald House®.

Total of 15 computers donated with each work station set up for one-on-one tutoring, and group learning scenarios for children in treatment, as well as their siblings staying at the House.

AOL Media Room has been aesthetically renovated to emulate happiness and designed to accommodate the users of the room – children, those in wheelchairs, and their siblings staying at the House.

Kevin Jonas of the Jonas Brothers will be onsite during the ribbon cutting. Kevin is an ambassador and honoree of Variety’s Power of Youth initiative, encouraging young people everywhere to get involved in philanthropic and humanitarian causes. Kevin also supports a wide range of charities including children-focused organizations like: St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, DoSomething.org, Make-A-Wish Foundation and MusiCares.
