Campaign: AOL Impact

AOL Impact is our corporate commitment to raising awareness for non-profit organizations that our consumers, employees, and partners care about. We do this by dedicating a space on AOL.com that features a new cause everyday and engages our audience to take action via our AOL Impact site, www.impact.aol.com.

Throughout the year AOL Impact welcomes our followers to submit causes that they care about for a chance to be spotlighted on AOL.com to our audience of millions.  This month we are dedicating two weeks to solely feature amazing cause submissions.  On Wednesday, July 11th we showcased Impact Creativity as the 'Cause of the Day' on AOL.com, and the placement drove over 9,000 click-throughs!  Impact Creativity is a program that aims to save theater education programs throughout the U.S.  . AOL Impact is thrilled to feature amazing organizations like this that are submitted by our followers and clearly resonate with our larger audience.

Be sure to check AOL.com to see what cause we are featuring today!

Impact Creativity
Impact Creativity, a project of the NCTF, is an urgent call to action to save theatre education programs in 19 of our largest cities. Creativity isn’t just about artistic expression; it is about trying new things, observing cause and effect, and flexible problem solving. Join us to help over 500,000 children and youth, most of them disadvantaged, succeed through the arts by sustaining the theatre arts education programs threatened by today’s fiscal climate.

Enchanted Makeovers
Not long ago, women and children were rare at rescue missions and shelters. The harsh reality is that today, they are more common than ever. Millions of women, mothers and children now call one of the 3,500 shelters in the United States “home”. Imagine feeling hopeless, scared, vulnerable and unworthy while living in an environment that is not supportive to re-building your life. Imagine your children living in such a place. Imagine how you would feel everyday.
