Invitation to Apply for Saudi Arabia's First Sustainability Training for Small and Medium Enterprises

AccountAbility is proud to partner with the King Khalid Foundation to facilitate the Sustainability Leading Practices (SLP) Training Program, which is the first of its kind in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The workshop will be conducted through three days of training sessions: two days of training sessions for practitioners on October 2nd and 3rd, and one day of training sessions for executives on October 4th. The training will be provided in English and simultaneous Arabic translation will also be available. Participants will convene in Abha for both trainings under the patronage of HRH Prince Faisal bin Khalid, Governor of Asir.

Vancouver Film Festival to Honor 'X-Files' Creator Chris Carter for Achievements in Environmentally Sustainable Production

The Vancouver International Film Festival (VIFF) announced on August 24 that it will present Chris Carter, creator and showrunner of The X-Files, with its Industry Builder Award for his efforts to make the production of this year's X-Files event series as environmentally sustainable as possible. The production team's work behind the scenes led to major cost and carbon emission savings and promoted innovative new ways to recycle set materials. Carter will accept the award at a VIFF luncheon on October 7.
