Sepsis is a life-threatening condition that occurs when the body’s response to infection causes injury to its own tissues and organs. Despite it being one of the main causes of maternal death and leading to about 35,000 deaths every year, the true burden of maternal sepsis is presently unknown, due to a lack of data.

Las Vegas Team Members Participate in Nevada’s Big Give

On March 22, Sands Cares, the company’s global corporate giving program, partnered with the United Way of Southern Nevada to sponsor Nevada’s Big Give. Since 2011, thousands of Nevadans have participated in the 24-hour online crowdfunding event that was created to rally together community support for Nevada’s charitable causes. In total, $631,153 was raised by 4,360 individual donors that benefitted 235 nonprofits.

he Arbor Day Foundation has announced that Telemark Diversified Graphics is committed to partnering with the Foundation to plant 30,000 trees in the Mississippi River Valley. The partnership was launched by Telemark as part of their sustainability efforts, and the program will be supported by a percentage of Telemark sales over the course of three years, with plans to continue the program long-term.
