MGM Resorts International, (NYSE: MGM) parent company of Gold Strike Casino Resort, donated $150,000 to the National Civil Rights Museum in Memphis. The funds will support the Museum’s programming surrounding the 50th anniversary of the assassination of civil rights leader Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr, which took place at the Lorraine Motel, now the location of the National Civil Rights Museum, as well as enhancements of the museum’s physical plant.
