Approximately 260 FCA US Motor Citizen volunteers contributed nearly 2,000 hours of service over the past seven months to complete a new for Carol Richards.The build, which kicked off in April, was part of a collaborative partnership between Habitat for Humanity Detroit and the FCA Foundation to build a safe, affordable home for a working family in need.

As part of its commitment to drive innovation and entrepreneurship, Cox Enterprises today announced it will launch Techstars Atlanta, an accelerator program for technology startups. Located at Ponce City Market, Techstars Atlanta will annually select a group of 10 startups to participate in a three-month program that provides expertise, funding and office space to help them accelerate their businesses.

I recently attended my first National Association of Environmental Managers (NAEM) conference. It was fabulous! Good content and a nice mix of sustainability practitioners from both large companies, small companies, and various types of advisors. I especially liked the fact that practically everyone I met was on the “front line”—measuring results, setting out strategies, and reporting progress.

With the intention of promoting educational projects for Mexican children and youth, Grupo Financiero Banorte (GFNorte) signed a collaboration agreement with representation in Mexico of the Organización de Estados Iberoamericanos (OEI) for education, science and culture. This alliance seeks to design, and promote strategies to strengthen the preparation of students in Mexico.
