The Wall Street Journal announced “The 100 Most Sustainably Managed Companies in the World,” a new ranking that focuses on companies’ ability to create long-term shareholder value. We are proud to rank among the top 2% of global firms, and you can read more about the award here.

The Journal’s environment, social and governance research analysts assessed more than 5,500 publicly traded companies based on sustainability metrics in areas such as business model and innovation, external social and product issues, employee and workplace issues and the environment. Making sustainability issues a core part of business practices is a defining characteristic of the WSJ ranking and International Paper is thrilled to make the list.
