Samsung Employees Donate 16,800 Hours Back to Local Communities Across the Country

On Oct. 16, 2015, Samsung Electronics North American closed its offices to enable its employees to give back 16,800 hours to more than 50 non-profit organizations. Employees feed the hungry, cared for children, built hygiene kits for the homeless, and cleaned up public spaces.

Samsung employees are driven by their passion to make the world a better place. Through its semi-annual Day of Service, Samsung ensures that the company’s employees have the opportunity to do their part to roll up their sleeves and support education, healthcare and environmental sustainability today, to create a better tomorrow.

Through the Samsung Day of Service initiative, the company’s employees have donated nearly 45,000 volunteer hours to community organizations across North America since 2014.
