If It’s in Your Life, It’s Probably on Our Trains

Have you ever wondered what would happen if trains didn’t exist?

The joys of everyday life are often experienced in the moment, with little, if any, thought put towards how they were made possible. That’s the logic behind CSX’s latest digital partnership.

CSX’s friends at the Mother Nature Network created a new interactive site, highlighting the positive effects trains have on people – many which you may not even realize!  

The site takes users through creative visual images that showcase the activities of daily life – watching a movie or eating breakfast – and allows the user to “flip the on/off switch” to show what wouldn’t exist as readily without trains. 

From the electricity you use to the meals you share, rail transportation plays a significant role in your everyday life. These realities are made possible (and more efficient) through CSX's transportation network.  

This interactive site ties into CSX's #LocalMotive campaign – an online conversation designed to tell the human story of the company through its positive impact in local communities, from moving goods and creating jobs to volunteer events and philanthropic giving.
