City High Student Wins ArtPrize in SmartArt Competition

City High Middle School's Katelyn Sheneman's piece, "What Makes the World Go 'Round," was the winner of the ArtPrize Nine SmartArt student competition, officials announced Sunday, Oct. 1.
SmartArt, sponsored by Consumers Energy, stands for Students Making Art with a Renewable Theme. This is the fifth year of the competition that is a partnership between Consumers, ArtPrize and Grand Rapids Public Schools.
