On November 17, 2012, 10 employees and family members of the Atlanta CITGO Petroleum Corporation lubricants blending plant participated in a hands-on volunteer project at the Atlanta Process Center to package dry foods for the organization, Feeding Children Everywhere. This organization is a social charity that provides healthy meals for hungry children locally and around the world. Within two hours, the CITGO team worked with a group that packaged and sealed 47,000 meals.

The employees of the Atlanta CITGO Petroleum lubricants plant are committed to giving back to the community it serves. This is one of many service projects that the employees of the plant have participated in throughout the year. This includes volunteering at the Atlanta Food Bank, and donating electronics to the Atlanta Recycle Centers and new laboratory equipment to local high schools.
