Campaign: Community

More than 40 volunteers from the Albertsons Community Team joined forces at the Company’s Innovation center to host the United Way's second annual Holiday Helper Event.  The task? To fill care packages for families in need throughout the Boise area.

“Our team always steps up around the holiday in so many ways, but especially when it’s in support of United Way," said Kathy Holland, Communications and Public Relations Manager for Albertsons Companies' Intermountain Division. "The Holiday Helpers program brings to light how much our community is impacted by homelessness and food insecurity. We’re so proud to sponsor this event and help the holidays be a little warmer for our friends and neighbors throughout the Treasure Valley area.”

Volunteers filled 2,500 care packages with non-perishable food, winter clothes, and hygiene products for students, individuals, and families in need at the 2019 Holiday Helper Event held at Albertsons Companies Innovation Center in Boise.
