Novartis US Foundation COVID-19 Response
In response to the COVID-19 pandemic in the US, the Novartis US Foundation established a Response Fund, which will provide USD 5 million over a one-year period for immediate response and recovery efforts related to the pandemic. • Funding will support local initiatives and communities in the US impacted by the outbreak. Initial grants will focus on immediate need for digital tools and frontline medical organization needs, including: $250,000 grant to the Commons Project for the development of COVIDcheck, a free public digital health service under development with global, national, state and local public health authorities; $125,000 grants to Americares and Direct Relief to support US safety net clinics.
