It identifies practical solutions which can be used by all stakeholders working to improve diabetes prevention, detection and management. The initiatives can be used independently or in combination, and they can help form the content of a national diabetes programme.   It is not too late to share your good practice  The European Diabetes Leadership Forum highlighted that many great practices and initiatives already exist across Europe.  To facilitate knowledge sharing and demonstrate how the Copenhagen Roadmap could be implemented, the European Diabetes Leadership Forum introduced a Copenhagen Catalogue of Good Practices in Diabetes and encourages institutions in the public and private sector as well as civil society to share their good practices by visiting diabetesleadershipforum.eu. Submissions are open until the end of the Danish Presidency of the Council of the European Union on 30 June 2012.    Submit your good practices at Copenhagen Catalogue of Good Practices in Diabetes.   About the European Diabetes Leadership Forum The European Diabetes Leadership Forum took place in Copenhagen on 25-26 April 2012. It was held in response to the current climate of slow economic growth and increasingly ageing populations. The Forum was held under the auspices of the Danish Presidency of the Council of the European Union – the Danish Ministry of Health. The Forum was proudly hosted by the Organisation of Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) and the Danish Diabetes Association and was supported by Novo Nordisk.   To find out more, please visit the European Diabetes Leadership Forum website.   IDF atlas 5th edition   Further information:
