Staples Opens New Spring Store in Houston, Donates $15K to Student Conservation Association
Staples Foundation donation supports SCA's Community Conservation Crews program which provides urban youth throughout Houston with environmental education and work experience throughout the summer.
Celebrating with a unique ribbon "shredding" ceremony and $15K donation to the Student Conservation Association, Staples marked the opening of its first store in Spring Friday at 19507 Interstate 45 North.
Harris County Precinct 4 Commissioner R. Jack Cagle attended the opening, along with representatives from the Student Conservation Association of Houston and the Spring-Klein Chamber of Commerce.
Staples General Manager Ken Stevens presented the Student Conservation Association of Houston with a $15,000 donation to support the Community Conservation Crews program that provides urban youth throughout Houston with environmental education and work experience through the summer.
